i was wondering, is South American Mahogany good for guitar building (dean ML style)( i think it will be, it has mahogany in the name :P)

bc at my wood store i can get 2" for about 14 bucks, but it'll end up till like 60 or something, but still.

and for a neck, what maple?
maple sap,
maple brown

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

What kind? If its cuban, santo domingan, brazilian or honduran then its probably pretty good. Those are the best but proving its them might be kinda hard.
