hey guys, i was considering buying a set neck guitar kit to build, and i wondered if anyone has any experience with these ones

No, except you never know what you are getting. I've heard horror stories about warped necks and poor fret jobs to non-fitting neck pockets.

I love both the band Chevelle and the car, by the way :P

is the rg kit any good? if the hardware is replaced later, but just for a start to guitar building? I don't really have any tools so this may be a way to get around that and finally try my hand at building guitars

But you wouldn't be building anything...

If you want the experience you get from a kit, just rewire your guitar for free. Take out the hardware..screw it back in..for free. You see where this is going.

I see where you're going, then what should I do (other than rewire-ing my guitar)? I want a guitar with a floyd (even if it's a cheap/crappy one) and I'd get to put it together =/... just wanted to know if at least the body and neck were ok for now.
