So, I don't if this has been covered before,
but has anybody else noticed that Marshall
spelled "equalization" wrong on the DSL50/100?
Anybody know why?

A lot of words that are now commonly spelt with 's' such as 'realisation' were originally spelt with 'Z'. Though both are technically correct now.

Bletchley.

You spelled it wrong, not Marshall.
"Equalization"? "Center"? "Theater"? "Color"?
Good God what did you do to our language?
If you were wondering...
"Equalisation," "centre," theatre," and "colour," are the original British spellings.

No really, they're just two different spellings. I fully believe that the British version is correct (we did sort of devise the language) but both are completely acceptable in almost any context.

thats the correct spelling there. Kindof like telephone is spelled different.
#12
Alright, i thought that might've been it,
but i wasn't sure, thanks.

No... that was the point. That it was spelled different there than in America.

Telephone has one spelling. If you were looking for an example then colour or centre would have made sense.

You didn't devise the language, it's a messed up mish mash of several languages it's funny when Brits get all possessive about the language, when it's just a bastard language that's all backwards and wrong anyway

we don't use z as much because we don't have as cool a name for that letter.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

It's because they're a British country, and so spell it the English way.

Also spelling and grammar are not the same

I'll give you that; there is no logic to the English language whatsoever.
But the English language almost seems like an art form to me; perhaps that's just me being an absolute pompous blowhard but I like it.

Haha exactly what I was thinking.
Besides, I do recall us winning the revolutionary war, so we can spell it how we damn please.
