I have a friend that has an older sister that has this guitar.
Do you think it's a good choice to go with cause i love it but if there's something better in the same price range i'd love to know what it is and what you guys think.

I have one and I love it. I couldn't find anything else with a solid top at the same price.

Your guitar does NOT have a solid top. And actually, at this price range, you should easily be able to find a guitar with a solid top.

What does he mean by solid top?

A solid top is made from solid wood. This Ibanez has a laminate top, which is fancy talk for plywood.

You could do better. Ibanez aren't the greatest when it come to acoustics.

Get down to a guitar shop, try out a few. I'm sure you'll be able to find something better that you'll like. How much are you willing to spend? Don't forget, you can always try out the guitar and then go and buy online.
