I am new to amps but I have been playing acoutic and clasical guitars for about 4 years

so my question is what kind of amp should i buy?
this is basicaly all i know
tube amps are louder then combo amps, and modeling amps dont have good sound

I play mainly alternative indie rock (modestmouse, dcfc, qotsa, snowpatrol, nirvana ,the pixies) and clasic rock (the beales, the who)
and a little metal on the side (ironmaiden, blacksabath)

i know its kind of wierd i play that with an acoustic guitar but i couldent aford an electric until now and i know 70% of the sound comes frome the amp so i fugure I should worry about what amp first.
I dont know how many watts I am looking for but i know i want to put a band together so i figured somthing like 50w so i can play over the drummer ohh and my budget is 400-500dls

ps:sry about my bad english, its a second lenguage and recomending me a few electric guitars isent a bad idea

i would suggest a peavey 112 50w tube combo. its an awesome amp for the price. you can get a lot of tones from it. good for a starting amp. as for a guitar. i would suggest looking at epiphones and fender standard series guitars. i wouldnt get anything below 300-400 dollars because they wont be a very good quality guitar and will still sound bad even through a good amp. also the playablility will be lower.
