Ik we're probably all tired of these "which amp" threads, but wutever.

OK....So i've been playing 2 years now, have a crappy MG, and am sick of it. I've been saving up, And i'm considering the following amps: Egnater Rebel 20, Traynor YCV40WR, Peavey Classic 30, Crate Palomino V32, and Orange Tiny Terror.

I play blues, classic rock, modern rock, and some metal. Think SRV, John Mayer(the blues stuff), Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Hendrix, RHCP, Foo Fighters, Wolfmother; Iron Maiden is probably the heaviest i'll need. Mostly will be at home, but I will also be playing with a drummer, and am probably gonna be starting a band soon, so i want an amp that I can use at home and with a band.

Also, I'm open to any other suggestions within this price range (700 USD and lower).
And of course, i'm going to try these amps before I buy, i learned the hard way last time (f*ckin MG)

this isnt a bad deal in your area. B52 ATs are quite versatile and should be able to get ou any tone you need.

TRY FIRST!

good luck and ask away if you have any questions.

I've heard some about B-52's, but idk much about them. For some reason I was under the impression that they're higher gain amps. but like i said, i really don't know. Do they do classic rock and blues well? Also, I was trying to stay away from 100 watts, cuz for my needs thats overkill

The Peavey classic 30 would do you quite well, except combo tube amps are a bit bleh, 'cause of tube rattle.

Egnater Rebel or the Orange Tiny Terror. I prefer the Egnater myself.

+1 The Rebel 20 is my next amp.
