My mates selling a pretty new (nov 08) Schechter Omen 6 for £80.

I'm not in need of a new guitar but this seems too good to pass on.

Anyone have one to give an opinion on it? Think I should go for it.

I'll probably give it a good try out anyway but i'd like some second opinions.

Not a bad price if you ask me. Play it and see what you think. Thats the best advice I can give.
If you start a reply with: I have never played one but I have heard good things about it! Your opinion is invalid.

Cool. I guess it'll be handy to have for alternate tunings and the 24 frets is a plus.

Thats a great deal, some people in my area are selling them almost brand new for 200$. So if you like it, buy it. You probably wont find a deal like that ever.

Yeah, play it and if you like it, go for it.

And if not, maybe even go for it and try to sell it on the sly so he doesn't know you made a profit off him.

1. Buy it -> like it -> keep
2. Buy it -> don't like it -> sell -> make profit
