Hi all!

Something about me: 2years and 3months of playing guitar... Metallica,Disturbed,Megadeth etc.

Ibanez guitar and roland micro cube...

I'm able to play Metallica Master of Puppets intro, so you know how slow I am...

And now I need to know some nice guitar solos that I could play to my friends without "backingtrack" ?

Usually I play with mobile phone's media player...

Something that sound good without drums etc.

you can't use a guitar to replace your lack of charm or social skills.

Worked for Malmsteen.

Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden, Sooooo COOL!!!!

Thanks! Never heard this song before, and now it's one of my favorite songs...
I will try it out today when I have time

Living Colour, not really what I am looking for. But I like the song because it's in GTA San Andreas Radio X

Learn the solo to the Moonspell song "Everything Invaded."

If you get to where you can play that perfectly, you will impress the hell out of nearly everyone.

Besides that, since you like Megadeth, you might try to learn the song Gears of War: it is a pretty simple song and sounds really cool. À Tout le Monde is also a pretty cool song to learn.

If you feel like playing something that is just different, try Alteration X 10 by the band Tiamat. You can learn the entire song in one sitting and it has got some good alternation between clean jazzy parts to some heavy playing. Plus, there is plenty of opportunity for improv at the end of the song. Likewise, if you want to learn something fairly slow, try the song Wings of Heaven.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

You claim to play and listen to Megadeth, and you haven't head about Holy Wars?

BLASPHEMY! Seriously, I'm not trying to turn this into a debate, but how can you like metallica better? Slower, comercial, and sellouts. What's good? but whatever, to each his own, but check out Tornado of Souls by 'Deth
