I wrote a song a while back, it's completely instrumental, and recorded it a few days ago.

I just wanted to see what people thought and get some constructive criticism or something.

I'm playing a JT-200d (Les Paul copy) through a Flextone III going into an Mbox 2 and recording with Pro tools 8 LE.

Thanks, guys.

the beginning sounded a bit odd to me for some reason, it might just be me though. When all the instruments came in for the chorus part.. i thought that was sweet.

Some parts were too cluttered IMO, too much crap going on at once. The chorus was sick. One of the chords for the rhythm guitar in the chorus I disliked. Everything else was great.

fly, I'll put it on my profile, I had just already uploaded it there and figured it was good enough.

I've gotten the too much stuff going on at once before, I'll take that advice, iSlash, thanks. Also, which chord did you not like during the chorus, was it the acoustic or the electric? (The acoustic was really low in the mix, if you even heard it. I was contemplating taking it out of the chorus altogether)

I have to agree with this, sounds sweet at parts, but at others there is just way too much going on.

so much crap everywhere!
I love it.

this was sick. sounds great over my laptop speakers.
mix is set. (though to be honest I get very very little low end so i'm not saying that that part isn't screwy lol but i'm sure its not)

some of the lead parts get just a smidge off on timing every once in a while. not bad though.
Intro was very Killers or Franz Ferdinand like (maybe not either of those but it reminded me of something hmmmm... ill ponder about that)
I liked it.

Yeah some influence from, actually, the Raconteurs. (I don't know which part of the intro you meant :P)
