Ok so,

My dad and i are walkin' around in this pawn shop in SC and i come across this gorgeous guitar:

at first glance i thought it was a tele, but when i look at the headstock:

Now im thinkin it's something that someone bolted together in thier garage with a telecaster body and an epiphone neck, but when i flip it over:

But here's where it gets weird, we get home and i look all over god's green earth for some hint of what this is, i look up the serial number, it has an authentic eppy name plate, and a perfectly clear number: K6070794 we get as far as it was made in korea, then it stops
, what the hell is this?

I've seen one million toilets...

AND I ROCKED THEM ALL!

It's an Epi Telecaster Copy. Epi also made strat copies as well. fairly rare to find, so jump on it They also make great platforms for customizing.

I've played one before, it was just meh....

But I dont really like tele's that much anyway so...

There's one just like it, but in cream at a local shop. I'm not sure when it was made, but if you don't mind odd looks from Fender players, it seems good to me.

yeah, it's an Epi T-310. I loved those when the Epi dealers around here had 'em. I love the neck on my Fat-310. Does that dealer ship interstate? Cuase I'd love to get my hands on a T-310. (I've played and heard a few [my old hometown was loaded with epis] and I loved 'em)

The neck should be flat and wide, the pups medicore and the body make of plywood with really good hardware. With a pup change it should be a GREAT guitar.

or the T-310, if you were lucky enough to live in the Naperville/Lisle/Bolingbrook/Downers/Aurora area in the in the late 90's/early 2000's... cause we knew and loved these things in those towns. I've seen tan/amber/butterscotch, sunburst and black models of these, they look beautiful in person. I have the strat version form the same period (batwing headstock and all) and it's a beaut. Like I said, I miss these models being around. I'd love to get my hands on one.

I still remember the day our first "Fender" vendor came for town, we just about crapped out pants that day.

they used to sell new for around $250-300 back in the day (seems a bit high, now, though) and I've seen 'em fetch anywhere from $100-$200 on Ebay recently. I think you did well.
