why would you want to put the bitrate down?
to make it smaller without hearing any change in quality that the human ear can detect?

You mentioned Metallica, so the first thing that came to my mind was Mama Said. I love to play and sing that one. That and the Dm is just fun to play in that song, even if it doesn't have much more than chords played throughout. Have fun!

This makes me smile

What is up with the lack of Hedges fans on UG? Maybe I'm just blind.

I always liked 'Jitterboogie'.

Yes to Unintended. Such a nice song, very simple too. I was playing that today when I had my guitar in school and someone actually recognized it...It shocked me, really (there aren't many Muse fans in my school, there's a few, but this person didn't appear to be a muse fan to me).

yeah, Wish you Were here by Pink Floyd is a nice one too, fun, simple.

anything by Jim Croce -- beautiful guitar work, but you may want to get a duo going....

Californiacation by RHCP is really fun, especially if you play the guitar and bass riffs.

This thread proves Gigatiran is awesome, and a lot more awesome than your average awesome. I bet he even owns a duster like Dennis Reynolds.

Dude... it's not a big deal. We all hang out at this forum to swap info and learn a thing or two from each other. There's nothing wrong with a thread like this, if there was, Cap or Jimtaka would take care of it. I think it's great that new people come to the forum all the time and most of us don't worry about seeing repeated threads -- it happens. There's no harm in letting people enjoy the forum.

This.

I know it gets annoying to see the same thread over and over again(it annoys me to an extent too), but there isn't enough traffic around the A&CG forum to need to enforce the rules as strict as other places on this site(such as the pit).

Jim and I also want this place to be a very relaxed and chill place that mature regulars can just enjoy and share knowledge. It's why we let a lot of things slide that other mods would probably warn for.

Just ignore/skip over the repetitive threads if you don't like them.
