Hey Pit

So, what do you guys think are the most interesting and fun majors to study at the university, but are still reliable (well paying jobs) ?

And what are the most boring and dull?

EDIT: ^The large bold part.

I enjoy rhetoric and writing. i also enjoy film. so i'm doing both. i don't think i would enjoy anything in business like finance or accounting, but it really depends on what school you go to and what you're most interested in.

The more fun a degree is, the less likely it is to get you a job. Roughly.

college has this uncanny ability to make absolutely anything dull and boring in my experience

Alright, I edited something. The interesting/fun major must also be reliable.

Sociology is pretty interesting, until you get to the part about gender reassignments and they show graphic pictures...

If you're into politics to begin with, Political Science is really interesting. There can be a lot of theory sometimes though and some of the older writings (I'm looking at you Locke) can be really tedious due to the outdated language. Theory can be really interesting sometimes because it helps you take on a whole new way of looking at issues.

My roommate is a civil engineering major. He has a whole class devoted to concrete. I can't think of anything more boring than that.

Finance is pretty interesting. A lot of it has to do with money management strategies which can be useful for anyone. It also involves a decent amount of math which adds a problem solving element.

i think this is the almighty answer to this question

If you go to Wellesley, that information is relevant. If not, it's totally useless. And since Wellesley is a chick school that chart is really not helpful unless you wanna troll the Studio art building for sluts.
