Anyone know any decent free sites to find local musicians (as far as forming a band etc) other then CraigsList? I've had horrible luck with CL and I want to try every avenue I can.

School?
If man is 5, if man is 5, if man is 5,
then the Devil is 6, then the Devil is 6, then the Devil is 6, the Devil is 6,
And if the Devil is 6,

then God is 7, then God is 7, then God is 7
This monkey's gone to heaven.

You could try here.
I'm pretty sure there's a forum here for it.

Google

Gosh, never thought of that.

I was hoping for a recommendation, a lot of the sites I've found on google want to charge or seem like spam sites.

a good one is make a flyer and put it up at your local guitar store (either guitar center, samash, or whatever) and usually they have a pin board to hang stuff up.

also try to ask friends if they know friends who have friends that play instruments (and go on for as long as its posible lol)
Equipment:

ESP F104 Bass
Spector Legend 5 Classic Bass
ESP B206SM Bass
Axl Mayhem Fireaxe Guitar
Gallien-Krueger 400RB-III Combo Bass Amp

*sigh* We've been trying that too.

We're looking for a singer and a drummer, which I imagine woulden't be in very large supply on a guitar site, so I haven't been trying UG.

Screw it, I'll find one on my own.

Spend all $200 on M&M's, then find a friend with an acoustic, and fill the body with them. Why? Because you can.

so? show up at the local high school and tell them to do things whether they like 'em or not. isn't that what everyone is doing in today's world?
