Hey guys. Today I installed Fender CS Fat 50's pickups in the neck and middle position of my 2007 Standard American Strat (which had all stock pickups). I didn't change the stock bridge pickup though, since I'm still waiting for my SSL-5 to come in. Anyways, I changed them...(FYI the middle pickup of the fat 50's is RW/RP) When I first installed them, the volume of the bridge/mid combination on my selector switch had a drastic decrease in volume, so i switched the leads and that solved that problem.

Now what's happening is that when I put the selector switch to the neck/mid setting, it hum-cancels very well. However, if i set it to bridge/mid, it does not hum-cancel. Actually, it gets quite noisy. Does anyone know why this is?
