You sure that's an Iceman?
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Supplied amazing music to both me and my mother.

He will be missed.

Looks like it might be an old IC300 model.

IC300s are MiA and have different knobs in completely different positions.

My eyes tell me that's a very poor rip off of an iceman, unless they didn't have the "hook" on the horn and there isn't the asymetrical point on the bottom. It's far too round.

To answer your question, I don't know, but don't believe the name on the headstock. Aren't I helpful?
If I wasn't me, who else would I be?

Did a little looking on wiki and found this.

The Ibanez Iceman II that was released in 1982/1983 had a different headstock with 6 in line tuners instead of the 3 a side tuners the original Ibanez Iceman had.

I couldn't find any info on the guitar nor could I find any pictures.

Looks like a Daron Malakian signature, but without the signature paint job.

It looks like the X, but wasn't the IC120 a similar shape?

And, if you are a collector, go for it, but for 900$ you can buy something wich gives you far more quality and hardware

EDIT; Didn't know it was AUS$ But still overpriced

I'm not really going to get anything better for $900 Australian. Unless I got a decent quality $500 ibanez and upgraded it a bit.

It looks just like my IC 120

http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/johnro6659/pictures/gear/398556/

It's a little smaller than the original Iceman but is not a bad guitar. The pick ups are great and it plays very well. I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't a decent guitar. I do not know what the exchange rate is but in USD I only paid $180.00 for mine used. So the price to me seems extreme. Ask for the Serial # and check it out to see what model it is.

Then save up more or find a different model. That guitar has pretty poor Ibanez made pups and it's old,so it likely has a lot of fret wear and other issues. You'd be better off buying some other used guitar or waiting and actually getting something nice.
