So since yesterday I've been feeling a kind of pain on my picking hand's palm. It's on the muscle right next to the thumb and under the index finger's knuckle. It's hard to describe the pain. It's a constant pain that doesn't go away, but it's not that bad or something I couldn't stand.

Anyway what I wanted to know, is if it's possible to get the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on the picking hand or if it's only related to the fretting hand. I'm quite surprised since usually I play in a comfortable position.
I usually don't fingerpick, and have been practicing a song with a ****load of string switching (Symphony X - Smoke And Mirrors) if it's relevant.

I know that the pit isn't a doctor, but some of you know about this stuff and could answer my question. If I see that the problem continues, I'll go to a doctor.
Thanks pit.

Because I'm a native of the pit I'll say, CTS comes mainly from fapping and fapping alone.
