will this really screw me up?
i sing power metal stuff.
i want a slight growl, but i don't know if soda will get me that.
i will not give up my Pepsi, so please don't recommend it.
can someone give me advice on how to maintain a decent voice and continue to consume vast amounts of soda?

You sing power metal... will anyone even realize if you screw up your voice? It's not like you're in the opera.

this its not like you have to exactly be melodic

Yea, Soda is only going to screw up your timbre and voice "quality" most powermetal singers arent too concerned with their timbre, just their range.

It wont really hurt much.

I don't think it would matter, just don't drink it before you sing.

So I was wondering, are black people capable feeling love? I mean can their brains comprehend that kind of emotion, or are they not programmed that way.

I know quite a few singers who recommend drinking coke before a show. My friend used to all the time when he was gigging cause the syrup put like a coat on his throat that prevented him from losing his voice.

If you're that worried about soda you must drink to much soda, because theres no way in hell that soda will mess up your vocal chords.
The good times are killing me.

Cola and achoal can really screw up your chords you cna get pylops and have to get the removed i had to get them removed keep that in mind you need a vocal coach!

It doesn't damage your vocal chords very much, I THINK. It may.

but I DO know that sugar will cause your voice to break up and crack in the short term, so don't eat or drink anything sugary a few hours before a show.

Right, ffs. I'm pretty sure before any gig, (apart from the most classicallt trained) any singer will be consuming alcohol. I do it, I saw Thomas Erak doing it, so don't try to blame soda for your ****ty singing voice.
I own an Orange Amp.
Fuck aye Dai.

Switch to Pepsi Max.

Or do what I do which is if i have some juice (occasionally) i make it an Irn Bru.

Its not any less harmful I'd just recommend it because its ****ing awesome.

Anything sugary is bad for you voice bro. Stiffens you up and lowers your control.

Indeed, alcohol is actually awesome for your voice in my experience.
