I thinking about buying a semihollow (probably a epiphone) and wanted to know how much gain/effects they can handle without feeding back?

I once used my Epiphone electric acoustic with a Marshall JCM2000. Not really something you can use in metal but it was fun to jam on. And I had a rubber thingy in the soundhole and an ISP Decimator set pretty high so that would be my feedback solution.
