This thread has been moved from "modern rock" to "classic rock" because I'm beginning to think it belongs in this category more. Plus, those listening to coldplay or muse might not appreciate this very much. Because of its classic lineup, here we have it.

This is the Chickenfoot thread, as we anxiously wait the next 3 months for the awesome supergroup to come. (Release in North America June 7, 2009)

For the Record
Sammy Hagar: Vocals (EVH, Montrose)
Joe Satriani: Guitar (Solo)
Michael Anthony: Bass (EVH)
Chad Smith: Drums (RHCP)

Theres 2 songs for download at the moment, Soap on a Rope, and Down The Drain. So far "Down The Drain" really really rocks!

Thread away!

Chickenfoot sounds like one epic band. I'm liking the two tracks up on their website so far, hopefully the rest of the album will be as good, or even better!

I'm not really a big fan of Sammy's vocals but the music is ace.

Trust me man, it's Smoke on the Water. Deep Purple only wrote one song.
