This thread is all about the Moodies. AKA-The Moody Blues.

To me, The Moody Blues were tops between 1967 and 1972. Even though there were a few good songs in 1964 when they had Denny Laine, the Moody Blues were the best when they had the 2nd-format.

Here's the skinny...

1st-Denny Laine and Clint Warwick
2nd-John Lodge and Justin Hayward
3rd-Patrick Moraz replaces Mike Pinder
4th-4-man group, later 3 after Ray Thomas left.

It seems that the drummer Greame Edge is the only true Moody around.

i'm seeing them next month! pretty excited...great band. very unique. favorite albums are probably Days of Future Past, A Question of Balance, and on the Threshold of a Dream
