Hey Guys!!

This is
!!!The Gear for Metal Thread!!!
You can ask a question here about the gear you need for playing Metal. If you are recording, Practicing or Gigging IT DOESN'T MATTER!
I and some other guys will politely answer them, or you could just pick a gear that you like in the list bellow and ask us what our opinion is

Just remember to Post a Budget/Location/New or used/Gig or no/ Bands when you need something

ALL Sub-Genres are accepted, Like Thrash,Black,Metal Core, Everything that has a use of High Gain in them.

Mid gain genres are also accepted but you must have a high gain genre as your main genre

WTFdit:
And im now also adding links for the gear.
just click the name of the gear and then it will open a new tab/window to show you the picture/specs and some are just links leading to the products page.

So ask away!!!!

Click for Settings

People To Listen In This Thread:
*no one yet*

WTFdit:
and i would also be happy if you could suggest what cab and effects to put in the Cab and Effects section

howdy,
just was curious about what you guys thought about the bugera 333 or 6262 compared to the 6505+, i know the 6262 is basically just a clone of the peavey, but i mean any real severe differences in tone?

also, i've heard good things about the TITAN CUSTOM, could someone like give me a review of that amp or what they thought?

also, kinda stupid, but i really like the peavey 6505+, but for a while i convinced myself to get the vypyr tube head just cuz it's cheap, i'm just wanting to hear what other people think directly, just in general convince me why to get it,

thanks

also,

WTF!!is a TAB: not to tell you what you probably already know, just wanting to make sure blankouts or brain farts don't occur, you might want to put stuff for cabs and pickups, guitars can always be modded with emg's or whatev's to make it good for metal, just saying

well there are not that many Titan reviews.
its made with your own Specs.

there are not that many major differences with the Bugera and the Peavey but the Reliability is the big one.

If you want more versatility go get the Vypyr tube 60 + Sanpera but if you dont need versatility just RAW power get a 6505
