Those are indeed sexy, but I was in the market for a combo amp. My halfstack barely gets any use anyways. (Living in an apartment)

I like how you went home on your lunchbreak to take pics and put up on UG.

Happy New Amp Day

I've always wondered what these amps sound like. Don't ever check youtube when I'm not behind a proxy...

Have fun man!!

I currently have a Bugera 333XL Head connected to a Marshall 1960A cabinet. Sounds great but it's very, very loud, and taking it back and forth to places I could crank it up was kind of a pain.

I always love seeing NAD/NGD posts while I'm bored at work so I thought I'd share before the workday was over.

Ah its only an Alchemist, i'm waiting for the day when someone gets an Uberschall or Shiva on here.

But yeah, happy NAD, it looks nice.

I really liked that amp when I played it. Congrats.
Very versatile, and alas, a new amp that doesn't need a speaker swap. It's a shame you have to spend $1000 for a new amp to come with good speakers. /whining

I read the topic title and thought "Bastard".
Saw that it's an alchemist and blew a sigh of relief

Pretty decent amps, but too vintage-y for my liking.

For the best tingle, use Original Source mint. That shit feels amazing on your balls.

When I tried the Alchemist, I thought is sounded Bogner-like...

HNAD! I actually bought one a month ago but returned it. The Mercury channel was a bit too muddy for my liking.

Congratulations on the new amp, but I'm not so sure how it'll sound with those EQ settings.

new tubes would have solved that issue.........the EHX tube's that are in the first 3 postion are pretty furry.
