I recently took 2 of my old acoustic songs and turned them into ska/rock, and im really happy with the result. Im looking for some feedback on these demos i made, bc im hoping to maybe make this into a new band or solo album. they are the first 2 in my profile, let me know what you think, and C4C.

thanks,

Arda

Really like the sound of both songs. They remind me a lot of the old school rock and roll, back in the early '50s more than ska.

I like the voice that's singing in the song suits the songs well, but it'd be interesting to hear a girl sing along to it, sorta like No Doubt. The whole instrumentation seems really tight. Maybe think of adding in some more dynamics, because the songs seemed to just have one dynamic. When getting into the chorus you could really bash into it so that it has more of an impact on the listener.

Sounded pretty good to me. I'd pan the vocals to center though. Love ska stuff, is that you drumming too? Nice job man, I'd be interested in hearing the finished product with a band too.

Cheers,

i liked the second one more, it had more of a ska feel. sounds pretty cool though. id get some different lyric subject, the girl song has just been done a lot. keep up the good work, sweet tunes.

Nice singing man, really digged it. I agree that they did sound a little 50's rockish, which is bad ass BTW, but the second one was my favorite. The panning is a little wierd, what program are you using?

And thanks for the Crit!
