I've been looking at getting the Fender Malibu Acoustic-Electric guitar, but I'm wondering how 'sturdy' it is. I've played it, loving the sound and feel... but it's got heavy laminate and feels 'breakable'. So does anyone have input on the Fender Malibu acoustic?

It's probably decent, but IMO it's butt-ugly. Strat headstocks just don't work with an acoustic body.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

the looks aren't that great, but I just love the sound of it... so smooth, Castles made of sand sounds AMAZING on it... it's perfect for my type of music... but I'm just worried how well it'll hold up :S

Look, if there's one thing Fender's got it's consistency. Almost every Fender I've played, be it acoustic or electric, has been a fairly nice guitar.

Lmao no.

Amongst acoustic guitarists Fender are known for producing horrible acoustic guitars. God-awful terrible guitars.

OP don't get it, it's rubbish.
