I spent a greater part of last saturday listening John Scofield and jamming to some syncopated rhythms and this is the outcome. The song is called Me & John's Syncopated Saturday. Click this and the song will be automatically streamed. Tell me what you think. If you want to download it or any of my songs, please visit http://www.mikseri.net/artists/?id=53195&displ_lang=en

Man, I hate listening to guys like you - you play everything that I want to be able to play!

Anyways, that was great! You sure know who is John Scofield ;] And I really liked the improvisation. Could I just ask what kind of effects you use to get that Scofield-esque sound? Or is it Guitar Rig 3? And is that a real band playing beside you?

I love John scofield, i have been recently listening to medeski, martin, and wood's out louder album, featuring Scofield, and it also inspired me to make music like him. I love the organ in this track. You really land this stlye, this is a lot like the music i listen to. You should check out the song in my profile, "what the funk" its a little funkier, but also inspired by scofield. great job man, i really enjoyed it.

Wow i'm impressed, very unique sounding.

Although I would of made brought guitar closer up in the mix just a tad.

Still I don't know **** about Jazz, Funk, or Fusion, nor mixing so what good am I.

Anyway good stuff man, nice soloing too.

right Metallica is a given. Personally I like to pretend the bus exploded and killed them all in '86.

Yeah, I'm using GR3. It's the Mesa amp model with some chorus and other **** that I don't remember right now. No, it's not a real band. I sampled the drums and played the other instruments myself.
