Yesterday I bought this ESP LTD MH-53. Just after I got home with the guitar, a friend came over and hammered the strings pretty hard. We also used the tremolo heavily (no, we did not bounce the guitar by the tremolo arm). Since then if i hit the 6th string hard (ie. during palm mutes) I get buzzing on the 1st and second frets. How can I fix it? I don'tknow all that much about guitars, this is my first electric.

Also, I got this Digitech DF-7 pedal. Since this morning the pedal is giving a very thin fizzy distortion for a few seconds after plugging in the guitar, then refuses to light up altogether. Has it conked?

Pedal sounds like the battery is dead, that pedal eats up batteries like oprah eats oreos.
