Sorry if theres already a special thread for this, but I didn't; see any..

Anyways, lately I feel I've been slipping into a sort of comfort zone if you will. I can play what I know very well, but for the past few months I haven't learned any new techniques or brushed up on the ones I have problems with. Fast alternate picking for example, I can't really do that nice and clean, I need to practice it more.

I'm currently gonna try to work on:

Dream Theater - Home
Sonata Arctica - Wolf & Raven
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Bendover

Most of the solo stuff in the songs I won't be able to do. But if I memorize them and slowly work them up to speed I can get them eventually, even if it's a long time. So those are the kind of songs I'm looking to have suggested. Technical songs with lots of solo work that will help me develop my techniques better.
