Calling all users from New York and Chicago, im going on holiday to america on sunday and i was wondering if theres any decent guitar shops or music shops in Chicago and New York.

Also anywhere else cool you could recommend would be greatly appreciated as well.

no shops for you...but you HAVE to go to the top of the empire state building if the weather is nice. i thought is would be a waste of time, but it was really cool
EDIT-if you bought a guitar, how would you get it home. also, in nyc, if you see a pawn shop, go in it. there is all sorts of buried tresure in them

ehh theres nothing great in chicago. stay away from the ghetto tho =P
and go to the shed aquarium =P i just went there. and saww the whalessss<3

New York City or New York in general? Because in Rochester NY there is the legendary House of Guitars- it's a massive guitar store the size of about 3 buildings
