well. broke 2 strings today, so i replaced them right? Well, once the string is in and i tune to pitch, they break again. Its the d and g string. Dont know why. help please.

i always bring the bridge up so the strings are all floppy, put a battery or something in the way of the bridge so it can stay put and then restring. when i restring, i always leave the strings a little detuned before i bring the bridge back to the normal position.

What string brand and size? What guitar? Standard E tuning? Did they break coming up to tune or when you started playing?

standard E. Kh-202(yea trem isnt great, i know) They break once i tune, be4 i even play. They are breaking at the bridge. I blocked the bridge with a domino BTW.
