Alright fellas, Ive got about $500 in cash (tops) that I can allocate to buying an amplifier. I do enjoy some metal like metallica, megadeth but I also enjoy my Joe Satriani, my Steve Vai and my John Petrucci. I also play completely clean on occasion and I do enjoy some airy cleans and some slight reverb. My "rig" is composed of several Ibanez guitars, a line 6 (dont judge me), a boss mt-2, an Ibanez weeping demon and a digitech rp150, so this is my first step out of beginner gear. I've played on a peavey bandit 112 80 watt (transtube series) so I'm thinking of buying that amp. Any amp suggestions would be awesome.

Thanks In Advance

No.

Well, technically it could be done, but only in the same way that you could change a cat into a hamburger. It's an unpleasant process, and nobody is happy with the result.

I can sell the line 6 and the rp150 and those 2 products will comprise about 200 of the 500 i have for spending. I've seen the carvin x100b in action and on sale for cheap bout a year ago and I wanted it because I heard Steve Vai was able to make great cleans off of it but I pussed out and didnt buy. what about the peavey xxx and ultra + make it a good selection? I can watch all the review videos on youtube and it still wont beat an actual testimony. thanks again fellas.

I see that those are amp heads, how can I make them audible without buying a cab?
