So IMO metallica are a mere shadow of their old selves now, prince isnt great, michael j fox cant skateboard now, slayer are starting to suck a bit, cant think of many musicians or filmstars who are still great as they were in the 80s except mustaine and maybe Tom Hanks and ACDC (well 70s and 80s)

Which 80s stars are still as good as they were (or are okay)?

+1 even if people around here hate him. *Raises his own flameshield*

TS, you know AC/DC started in the 1970's, not 80's, right?

Anyway, I'd say RHCP in general except for Hillel, since, well, yeah. Satch is doing pretty good too(Especially if he wins the lawsuit), and so is Sammy Hagar. And Michael Anthony. [/chickenfoot]

I stated that, and in addition i didnt say which bands were formed in the 80s i said which bands rocked in the 80s, which ACDC was one of them (back in black the seminal album coming out in the year 1980)

Fair enough, but 70's Bon Scott AC/DC was better IMO, so I consider them more of a 70's band than an 80's band even if I like Brian.

It has been almost 20 years. What do you expect? I actually don't like much music from the 80's so I don't care about that and as for film stars, there really isn't much from it either. The 80's was a very flamboyant time in American history.

Mike Patton/Faith No More, although FNM isn't nearly as big, Patton is still active in the music/sound effects industry (correct me if i'm wrong, but he lent some voice talent to Left 4 Dead?).
