I have a Fender Classic Player's Jazzmaster, I love it and everything but I'm not too fond of the Rosewood fretboard. Is there a way to take out the Rosewood fretboard and add a Maple one, or is it better just to get a neck from like Warmoth instead.

Also I am wondering since this is a mexican model, will a replacement pickguard fit into these models, I know they work for the american ones but will it work for the mexican ones?

thanks your help is greatly appreciated.

Nah, just go for a new warmoth neck.

not completley sure about the pickguard, send 'em an email?

Maybe the price tag is clouding your judgment ?
yeah probably. Or the circuits.

Yeah, you can remove the finger board and put on a maple one, but I would just sell the whole neck and get a new one, either a used vintage strat neck or a new one from Warmoth or Mighty Mite.
