Would the ac15 be able to get loud enough to get over the drums and for doing some small gigging? And could you guys recommend me a good OD pedal maybe in the $30-60ish range. I know I probably won't get the best pedal for that, but I'm gonna be broke after buying this amp. I'm basically looking for that good old fashioned british sound, if that helps with picking out a OD. Thanks guys.

it would be loud enough, so long as you dont use cleans.

and get an EHX nano muff, its about all you'll get in that price range.

I'd look into a Peavey Classic 30 if I were you.

you'll be perfectly fine with the ac15, i have it, and it'll cover a heavy handed drummer easily, while still remaining clean, the key is just keep the top boost volume no higher than around 12 o'clock, and turn up the master volume to fit what you need. this amp is actually reall loud, a overdrive would deffinately be hand, when i play alone i wish i had one considering just turning the master volume barely anything from 0, and cranking the top boost to about one or two oclock is rediculously loud for indoors, but it's the lowest volume you can get a decent overdrive at,

The AC15 has much better cleans.

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.

I've never really heard too much on the Classic 30. How is it overall?

if you want real, nifty cutting tone, the fulltone OCD is one of the best overdrives ive ever heard.

its alot smoother than the TS-9 and is alot more versatile.

unless you find a keeley modded ts-9, the OCD owns it.

Ooo I quite like the Cool Cat Drive. How sturdy is it? I'm not expecting the best for being so cheap.

It's an amazing amp. I would try and play one if you have the opportunity.
