Hello,
I'm wanting to get a band together,
not too sure of a genre,
The band that is a great influence on me is "Irepress" and "Meridiems"
Not many people know who meridiems are because they are local around where I live.
Neither bands have no real singer,
It is practically all instrumental.
Both bands guitarists did some crazy things with a lot of effects, and I was wanting to do the same.
My question was would it better to buy all stompboxes or buy a nice multi-effects pedal (Not a digitech)
I was looking at a Pod xt Live
or a boss me-70
I was wondering which would be more efficient.
Please don't flame.
And reply soon,
Thanks guys.

Yeah, I'm not too big on the RP series.
I was looking at a Pod XT live,
I like it because I can run directly through a mixer,
I know I can with the RP,
But like I said..
I had an RP350.
Wasn't too big on it.

Personally I would go with single pedals. Generally when you buy a multi-effects the effects aren't as good as quality compared to their stompbox version. Also you are going to get a million different effects and you will find that you won't even use the majority of them.

My advice is to figure out what effects you are really looking for and invest in a few stompboxes; however, the final decision is totally up to you and what you think would be best for your situation.

hmm for you, i think the best stuff would be single pedals, then you can take pedals out of the loop and add pedals in when you want, multi fx processors usually like to be the only thing in the chain.
