i just noticed how the riffs are pretty much the same, but Rammstein's is better.

i heard maybe slipknot borrowed from rammstein, was it Rein Raus they borrowed from?

Slipknot uses the most generic chord progressions/riffs.

It's just that they tune slow ****ing low to hide it, no one notices.
Poop.

Yes, poop.

take Rein Raus

remove the triplet, and take it back to the tempo and chords, drop the tuning down one step.

psychosocial.

in rein raus its right from the beginning

in psychosocial its the riff after the intro, before the bridge/chorus.

You're freakin over one riff? There's tons of examples where the same progression is used.
I.E., the backing chord progression in All Along the Watchtower (in the original) and the riff after the solo in Stairway to Heaven are the same riff.

yeah, but that doesn't mean it was stolen. I love Rammstein and slipknot, and also have both songs, but while that one riff sounds similar, it's DEFINATELY not the same, and the rest of the songs sound nothing alike.

Sounds like a generic riff to me.
