Hi everyone,

I just wanted to post a link to my jazz guitar site i'm trying to get started:

If anyone has any feedback I'd appreciate it. The lessons and exercises section is pretty sparse for the time being, but I've been working hard to make a very comprehensive chords section, so please let me know what you all think!

Thanks

Looking good from what I saw, on the chord section I'd come up with a way to circle or highlight the root note even though you have it under "Xth note root"

A good way to get feedback on your lessons might be to post them to this site. That way you can receive ratings and comments and know what to improve.

It was the only task I would undertake...

...to reap the harvest that was mine

Thanks for comments everyone. I have posted a draft of a new lesson on pentatonic speed runs here: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?p=20504325#post20504325 Thank you for the suggestion Metal.

Communist: yes the bass line exercise is supposed to be picked with the fingers, I can't imagine anyone but Petrucci could play it picked hahah.

Code, the way I would recommend using my site to learn jazz guitar would be to go to a real book (such as this online real book: http://www.ralphpatt.com/Song.html) and pick a tune. Then use to chord charts to find the appropriate chord and practice that song. Once you have it down, find a completely new way to play the same chords. Then repeat for different songs, and trying to add more embellishment.
