I have one that I did some simple mods to clean it up a bit.
Sounds decent stock, sounds pretty darn good after mods.
At the very least it needs a new speaker.

Overall though, a great tube amp for the price

its the same as the others in the V series...the cleans are to die for but its a POS on its drive channel.

the V5 is only one channel though, sort of like the Valvejunior.

its the best one of the series imho.

it'll be good for things like blues, rock, punk and whatnot. Wouldn't get it for metal or jazz, although it might be able to do some kind of metal with the right pedal.

Google usually helps with that. I did a search on Crate V5 and the 4th link goes to video results.

My inital response was a bit ruder, but I can't view the youtube videos at work so I don't know if they are just showing mods, or actually somebody playing them.

But yeah, google and youtube will help a lot with that..
