Hey guys,
As you can see from my sig, I have gotten to be pretty detailed on the kind of guitars I like
So I am looking for my next little adventure
I am looking to customize the best travel acoustic/electric guitar I can find

The things I want (if possible):
1. Different sound options: either a versatile pickup, or multiple pickups
2. Nice ~full playable neck - i have relatively big hands
3. The ability to play acoustic on it as well- Does not necessarily need to be authentic acoustic sound, something like an LR Baggs x-bridge is cool

I am having trouble finding sucha guitar
I do not have much trouble finding different parts for a guitar, as long as it is possible
I am no luthier but a guy who can find is way around and knows parts
That is why I am seeking all your help!

The two guitars I am looking at are the:
1. Mini strat - http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Squier-Mini-Strat-Electric-Guitar?sku=510421
since it has the pickup switch options, and I figure I would just need to play with new parts/swap crappy one it has
2. Traveler acoustic-electric - http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Traveler-Pro-Travel-Guitar?sku=518700#new
since it "can sound liek an acoustic" - though i read it plays as one which would such for electric

I have a washburn rover and hate it since its playability is crap.. I like to be able to rest my arm on the guitar

Thanks for all the help

Hey, I say get the Singlecut body traveler, its cheaper, and my rythm guitarist has one and its great, plus a full humbucker
plus you wont be able to rest your arm on the guitar with the one you got up there.

Single-cut Traveler Guitar

Less Expensive and better looking IMO.

Plus if you ever wanna refinish for your modding, You'll have more of a body.

Yes, you probably can rest it on a mini strat a little bit. But those are pretty low quality stuff.
