I'm planning to go to Guitar Center or Sam Ash tomorrow to buy a new set of strings (10 gauge) for my Jackson DK2M. It currently has strings that are 9s and its been like that ever since I had the guitar. Since it has a licensed Floyd Rose, I know that in some cases there must be some spring adjustment to better handle the new, heavier gauge, but my question is: would that really have to be necessary when switching to 10s? I've heard and read that it isn't necessary. And if it is, are the springs the only thing required to adjust or is there some other factor I have to take into account? Also, how would I set it up (I've never done this before). All help/advice is appreciated!
