Two days ago I decided to restring my OLP John Petrucci guitar. Since I was doing that, I also finally got the chance to turn my D-Sonic pickup around (I had the bar on the bottom and now its on the top). Now when I play it through an amp I can hear the springs inside vibrating/shaking. Why is this and how can I fix it because its really annoying?

Most people put a rag under their tremolo springs to muffle unwanted noises.

Wrap an elastic band or two around them
If video games make you violent, does monopoly make you a millionaire?

Open up the spring cavity and stuff some tissue or a line of cigarette filters inside each spring

Hell no I'm turning it around again haha It's a much better sound when its facing towards the neck. A lot cleaner. But I put tissue in the springs and it got rid of it. THank you
