Helloo; I am here to ask some advice on purchasing a bass head and cabinet. I have always played combos in the past, and have never had to really pair a head with a cab.
A friend of a friend of mine is moving out of the country and is selling his Ampeg bass head (http://www.ampeg.com/products/b/b2re/index.html) for cheap at $350.
Now, as I am jumping at the chance to throw my money around, I have also come across a used couple Peavey cabinets to possibly pair with the head, both at only $300 each(http://www.peavey.com/products/browse.cfm/action/detail/item/116525/TVX%20115%20EX(TM)%208%20ohm.cfm) and (http://www.peavey.com/products/browse.cfm/action/detail/item/116526/TVX%20210%20EX(TM).cfm).

Now, I guess Im really just stuck on lack of knowledge on pairing a cab with a head and what not. If anyone has anything constructive to input, that would be great.
Thanks in advance!

I'd skip on the head and the 210 cab, to be honest.

I see no reason to have a 210, unless it's until you can carry a 410. I haven't heard much good about the head.

perhaps this cab: http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Kustom-Deep-End-Series-410-4x10-Bass-Speaker-Cabinet?sku=481429#new

and this head: http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-Tour-450-Bass-Head-?sku=480314#new
