Well I'm looking for a new amp and i simply can't find the right one for me in the price range. If you can help me I'd be apreciated

I'm looking for a amp to play mostly metal, price range about 200 but can go to 250 if needed, no spiders please

In that price range you should check out either a Peavey Vypyr or a Roland Cube.

If I was into metal and had a tight budget, I'd go after one of the VOX VT50s or a cheaper version of that...they have great distortion modeling.

great little amps, give alot of room for mods in the future if you get into that kind of thing.

the halfstack sounds better than the combo, it has a bigger speaker, and a bigger sound (i.e. not so boxy)

EDIT: then save up for a metal muff.

The valve junior is a pretty good option, tell us, where are you getting the amp from? If you are getting it online you have a lot of options, if not, I'm guessing you're going to a local shop?

I play mostly Metallica, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Slayer kinda stuff, I'm a bit thrashy but I also like to play more smooth things
