So I am using no$gba to play pokemon, and I am positive I saved the game. When I start the game it goes from the Press Start screen, to just jumping in to talk to the professor, how do I even get to the load screen?

Are Pokemon games really that expensive that you have to download them? I swear Red/Blue - Gold/Silver are like $10 at the most...

why so many emulator threads tonight?

computer thread/gaming thread

also make sure loading is enabled, and battery is loaded or whatever

i've always found pop to be harder to play than metal... especially shred metal... it's just really fast tremolo picking and the occasional palm mute... and the only chords you have to worry about are power chords...

Are you loading the save state that is built into the emulator?

if you were a real man you would just leave the window open for as long as it takes to beat the elite four.

I have no opinion on this matter.

ah youre lucky to have a gba emulator that doesnt crash every time you try to save. ive got one on my ipod, gpSPhone from Zodttd. it used to work great. one day i get an update, then it works like ****. two days later another update comes out, but you have to "donate" to download it.

the point of jailbreaking is to NOT have to pay!

youll find it in cydia. problem is the only available one now would be the update, which costs a "donation". im trying to find out if its possible to downgrade the emulator, it used to be so great
EDIT: if you can find/install a good free one to your ipod, please tell me how to add it to mine

Well can't you just donate a dollar or something? I'd give a dollar for a gba emulator...

EDIT: Just saw your edit, I don't own an ipod touch...YET

I'll definitely PM you though if I find one after I get an ipod touch. I'm pretty active with the whole psp hacking/custom firmware scene, so I'll probably be messing around with the ipod touch a lot as well.

How about SNES and NES emulators? Are those also available on the ipod touch?

And to TS, no$gba is ideal for DS emulation in my experience. The best GBA emulator for pc is visualboyadvance. It's an amazing emulator, and you should have no problems saving your games with it.

you can get SNES and NES emulators, just add these as a source to one of the apps you get from jailbreaking called Cydia
heres all sources i know of
after you open, go to "manage", select "sources" and hit "edit" in the top right

http://iromrepo.com/Cydia/genesis/
http://iromrepo.com/Cydia/snes/
http://iromrepo.com/Cydia/gba/
http://iromrepo.com/Cydia/gameboy/
http://apt.123locker.com/ (only place i can find NES roms, theyre in a pack, but plenty of good ones, and the emulator you can find without adding a source)
