how can i overcome this? it's like everytime i play fast, my picking hand gets weaker and so makes the sound softer. it annoys.

pick harder, slower, and build up speed. use a metronome. use the giant exercise thread it should have some stuff in there

Slow down, you're trying to play faster than you're able to...slow right down and work on improving your control, accuracy and making your movements more economical.

yes, spend some time playing slower but more forcefully first. This will help you more than trying to rush things.

That's tension. You want to practice making small, accurate, forceful pickstrokes, and as they get more relaxed and smaller, you'll find the speed just happens by itself. Read the main sticky if you haven't already.
