Hello Stan.
You’re going to die.

Don’t look at me
like that,
scared, or maybe pensive,
for a way out.
There are no bread crumbs
left where you’re going.
It’s you and me.
It’s you or me.
You see, I pay the rent.
No free boarding for you tonight, Stan.
Or ever again.

Now how do I get you
off the bottom of my shoe,

This is not a pipe
This is short and sweet. It seems like a thought you had while you were maybe watching...I don't know, a cockroach? Before you squished it, that is.

Overall, it's very good for its bluntness. But I wouldn't say it's one of your better or more interesting pieces.
This was interesting, until the end. The end was a real downer, when it shouldn't have been. Just the sheer bluntess of it, I think.

Didn't really like this one Carmel. Reminds me of a Bukowski one where he kills a roach for not paying rent.

love is a dog from hell.
