So I may be getting an Esp Ec-400, and I have a couple questions. How does it play, shred-wise, compared to say, a Schecter Hellraiser or Hellraiser Avenger? Cause I wanna know if it can keep up with the Avenger, which is my main guitar now. Also, does anyone know how the black EC-400's look? Cause i couldnt find any really good pics, and I wanna make sure im buyin a sexy guitar

BTW this is one of the newer models with 24 frets and EMG 81 and 60.
Thanks!

the neck is laminated like the rest of the guitar and it should compare to a hellraiser, i think the neck is a little thick (but you play schecters so it should be the same). If i were to get an esp it would be the ltd mh1000 in dark brown sunburst... so nice...

It's apparently a very good guitar, but many have said that the EC 500 is quite a step up, as it has 81's 81's
