now before i get a new arsehole torn open, i'll have you know that i searched for heaviest riff and found only 2 wicked old, misplaced threads on the subject.

So what do you all think?

One of the ones i think is the heaviest is the main riff in Endless Sacrifice by Dream Theater, it just occurred to me today.

Or maybe The Fire and the Fury by Firewind.

Or actually, Backbone, From The Sky, Ocean Planet, Space Time and Remembrance by Gojira /thread

So I was wondering, are black people capable feeling love? I mean can their brains comprehend that kind of emotion, or are they not programmed that way.

I've always thought that the 3/4 riff of Trivium's "Down From The Sky" was heavy.

I'm gonna say the intro riff to "Sixpounder" by Children Of Bodom, though.
Alexi's tone makes me turn gay for a bit.

That song can be played on a 7 a half step down. So More like, that riff in Catch 33 (I forget which track but it gos over like 3 of them) or Combustion.

The intro riff to Electric Wizard - Dopethrone.

Or pretty much anything Electric Wizard has ever written, for that matter.

My favorite EW riff is the one after the solo in Black Butterfly.

I wasn't really saying that cuz it's on an 8-string... but there's really a lot of stuff by Meshuggah that could be said for this thread...
