I changed the strings on my fender strat using the same gauge strings that i allways use (ernie ball super slinkys) but this time for some reason there's so much tention, i've had to put it in drop c just to feel normal!! ... but then noticed the floating bridge had sunk, what should i do!!?

do i need to take the back pannel off?

well if you can find a way to adjust the tremolo claw without removing it off then no but generally yes you do

so if the bridge is leaning in the direction of the neck tighten the springs,if its not then loosen it

there six holes for the strings then underdeth that theres another, is that it?

never take all the strings off at once, i think the neck will bend because the pressure of the strings are gone. good luck btw

the two screws?

yes turn them counter clockwise 1 full rotation, retune, adjust if necessary 'til you have a bridge parallel to the body.

There's no such thing as a strat trem sinking into the body . If you used too tight of strings they would have pulled the bridge up there's no way it can go down. If it's resting on the wood it's fine just use light gauge strings.
