A 5W tube amp would be perfect.

I can't remember the blackheart model name, but someone will post it, right?

Little giant BH5H

owns the valve junior.

especially when you do what i did and put in JJs =]

if you want more power, the B-52 AT-112 sits comfortable within your budget.

Epiphone Hummingbird
Epiphone Futura Custom Prophecy (Twin EMG)
Vox Valvetronix VT20+
Vox Wah
Boss MD-2
Danelectro Cool Cat Drive

For the styles you talked about Classic 30 would be perfect. The B-52 is voiced just slightly heavier than what you are talking about. A Classic 30 should be around $350, used.

a peavey windsor is great for classic rock but no cleans. B52 is always a good choice. and if you can find a VK 112 for cheap (like around 200 bucks), thats another option.
