Hello UGers

My band is going to have its second gig in August in a Talent Show in my school, and we need more ideas for our set list. I must admit that for our first show (which was rather small), we only played one song: Seven Nation Army. We have a vocalist, two guitarists, a bassist, a drummer and two keyboardists.

So far I've only thought of two songs that we could possibly play for the show:

Feeling Good by Muse
Life Is A Perception Of Your Own Reality by Chiodos

Any more suggestions would be very welcome. Preferably alternative, garage, indie rock or post-hardcore (no screaming, though).

Thanks in advance.
Wave goodbye to the past.

You traded him a sword for the guitar? You do realize that a smart person would just agree to the trade, take the sword, slay you with it, keep all of the loot and call it a day, right?

....What are they teaching you kids in school these days?!

Perhaps take anything from "The Killers". Its bound to get the girls in the school swaying their hips. Good luck on Muse, not impossible, just difficult getting the feeling of that song. Collective Soul is a good choice. Try "Shine" or "Why pt2". Simplicity rules.

You could do some Radiohead maybe, might be a bit difficult tho.
You could possibly do some 30 seconds to mars aswell

Feeling Good is a really hard song to get tight tho, so good luck with that!

Which songs by Radiohead would you suggest?

Everyone: Thanks for all the suggestion, by the way.

Just ask each person in the band to contribute one song, ensure that it is within your skill level too.
And no, Guitar Hero will not help. Even on expert. Really.

Don't think I've talk with them already. I've talked with them and they have pretty much left me to decide on the set list. It's troubling me since we're running short of time (gig is on the 18th of August) and I can't think of any song for us to play.
